250 people at outdoor high school events are back on for now.
Governor Wolf has been granted permission by the Third Circuit Court of Appeals to put gathering restrictions back on high school games and other events.
The PIAA says they are under the impression that those limitations are back in effect for now.
But organization says they are hopeful the protocols will soon change.
PennLive reports that Wolf made the following comments on Thursday.
“At the same time, we’ve got to make sure that we’re being reasonable and realistice about how we do things. I’m doing everything I can listening to folks, and continue to change as I did with restaurants, and we’ll continue to look and make sure that the guidelines we have in place are reasonable.”
Wolf added that they know each game and community is different and varying amounts of fans can attend games.
“Stay tuned, we’re working on it as we speak,” said Wolf.
The PIAA says they are contacting schools urging them to see what they can and cannot do under the order.
