Since February, draft experts have been putting out mock after mock for the public to devour, scrutinize, analyze and speculate.
It makes sense, football is king and the NFL has done a masterful job of hyping up every aspect of the offseason. The Combine, draft and schedule release are just some of the events that draw millions to their TVs.
And even though most of us have had our fill of mocks and possible scenarios we'll all still be glued to our televisions tomorrow night seeing who the Steelers take with the 20th pick (unless they trade up or trade back).
But with so many mock drafts and so many "experts" is has become overload and exhausting.
"There are too many mock drafts, there's too many insights out there, I don't have time for that," said Dorin Dickerson on The Fan Morning Show Wednesday. "I don't need to look at 50 different mock drafts, I don't need to listen to 50 different people give their opinion on where Malik Willis is going to go, where Kenny Pickett is going to go. I don't care for Dan Orlosvsky to tell me where he thinks Aidan Hutchinson is going to go."
Dickerson is also living proof of how mock drafts are a crap shoot. He says he was projected to go in the 2nd round by all these experts but wasn't taken until the 7th.
"So I think I'm a little personally salty about this whole mock draft and this whole draft buildup situation," said Dickerson.
But like a highly addictive drug, even though we say we've had enough, we always come back for more.
