Urban Meyer is quickly making Bobby Petrino's ill-fated stay as the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons seem like it wasn't half bad.
Meyer may not resign to take a college job and leave a note at each player's locker to let them know of his decision, but seemingly nothing can be ruled out at this point.

Whether he lasts the entirety of the 2021 season or not, Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk predicted Tuesday that Meyer won't make it to a second year as the head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
"I thought the talk after Week 2 about USC and 'Urban Meyer won't last' was way too premature. But after what has gone on so far this season and after what happened this weekend, I will be stunned if he's still there next year. Whether he gets fired or whether he quits, I don't think he's gonna be there next year. Barring a dramatic change in events, I don't think he's gonna be there."
Meyer apologized Monday after a video surfaced over the weekend of the 57-year-old dancing at an Ohio bar with a young woman that wasn't his wife.
Tuesday, Jaguars owner Shad Kahn issued a statement in regards to Meyer:
If Kahn's statement was designed to extinguish the fire that the 0-4 Jaguars are dealing with, it's hardly done that.
Just prior to the statement coming out, NFL Media's Michael Silver sent out a five-tweet thread that suggested that if Meyer ever had the respect of the Jaguars locker room, he doesn't have it currently:
We don't know the terms of Meyer's contract, but presumably it would be pretty costly to move on from the former Florida and Ohio State head coach unless he resigns or is dismissed with cause.
