Today is the 15th anniversary for Pitt fans of the 13-9 upset over the West Virginia that prevented the Mountaineers from going to the National Championship Game.
Notable West Virginia Fan Amanda Fillipponi has received a lifetime ban from 93.7 The Fan.
Chris Mueller made the decision after Andrew’s wife cursed once again on the air after saying she wouldn’t.
“I promised Donny (Football) I wouldn’t swear but I wanted say this this absolute bullsh*t . . . ,” said Amanda before she was dumped off the air signal by Donny.
“We’re done pal, I’m tired of your tricks,” said Donny. “Poni set this up Chris and looked what happened.”
Poni said he thought Amanda was going to come on to talk about how much the game affected her senior year and how it’s still painful and was going to “extend an olive branch.”
But instead, Mrs. Fillipponi is banned for life ala Pete Rose.
Amanda received a temporary ban from Mueller after she cursed after Pitt beat WVU at the beginning of the season.
