Is a Penn State football game a Pittsburgh sporting event?!

Austin “City Limits” Bechtold may have just given one of the worst takes we’ve heard in a while.

To be fair to Limits, it stems from something “Intern” Dom DiTommaso posted on “X”.

Dom posted the top five football games to look forward to this fall in Pittsburgh.

#2 is Oregon vs. Penn State…in Happy Valley.

Penn State is over two-and-a-half hours away from Pittsburgh.

There may be many Nittany Lion faithful living in the Pittsburgh-area, but a Penn State home game is not a Pittsburgh sporting event.

“That’s not a Pittsburgh football game,” said Joe Starkey.

“I disagree, the most graduates in any county in the entire state of Pennsylvania are Penn State graduates are in Allegheny County,” said Limits.

“Super, that doesn’t make it a Pittsburgh sporting event,” retorted Starkey.

Starkey adds “Are we doing Cleveland Browns games”? Since they’re around the same distance.
