Jaromir Jagr won his first Stanley Cup as a rookie with the Pittsburgh Penguins during the 1990-91 season.

It’s now nearly 2023 and Jagr is STILL playing hockey.
While his NHL career ended in 2018, he continued to play in his hometown in the Czech Republic, owning the Kladno Knights.
Not playing for the team so far this season, Jagr had to step in and play after an illness went through the locker room, leaving just 12 skaters on his team.
The team was going to have its second straight game postponed if Jagr didn’t step in.
The team also would’ve faced discipline.
"My arrival was not planned in advance," Jagr said, according to Yahoo Sports. "When Liberec decided to not postpone the match, we only had 12 players at training on Saturday. There was a threat of suspension and I didn't want it to happen."
In five games for the Knights since returning to the ice, Jagr has five points (all assists).
The Knights are currently in last place in the Czech Republic League 11-15.
Over his career in the NHL, Jagr has 766 goals and 1,155 assists for 1,921 total points.
His NHL career lasted 24 years.
