Should Steeler fans act as if this Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals is a second Halloween?
Heinz Field may be limiting the crowd size to account for social distancing, but maybe they should take a look at what Bengals’ quarterback Joe Burrow had to say when asked why he was scared of “House” as a kid.
That’s right the former No. 1 overall pick grew up only watching Spongebob, or other Nickelodeon shows.
Burrow openly admitted to “being scared of everything growing up,” including scary movies or haunted houses.
The Harry Potter and Lord of the Ring series are not known for being overly scary, but those were two movies that Burrow listed by name that he wasn’t able to watch as a kid.
Not to say that a Pittsburgh crowd dressed as horror movie characters would actually scare the young quarterback, but maybe a few ghost or zombie costumes could get into his head.
One also wonders if the Steel Curtain from the 70’s Steelers would have given Burrow nightmares.
