PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – It's not an in-conference transfer, but it almost feels like one as a freshman linebacker left Penn State and has signed with West Virginia.

Lance Dixon, linebacker from West Bloomfield, Michigan, is now a Mountaineer and will have four years of eligibility even after playing 9 games last season.

Dixon has benefitted from a couple of new rules-playing three games his freshman year in 2019 and keeping his redshirt and the 'free year' of eligibility for 2020-21 NCAA athletes.

The 6'2", 221 pounder had his best game against conference champion Ohio State.  Dixon forced a fumble, finishing with five tackles.  He finished the season with 10 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and the forced fumble.
