More fans will be allowed into the stands when the Stanley Cup Playoffs begin in Pittsburgh
Tickets for the first two Round One games at PPG Paints Arena go on sale Wednesday, May 12 at 10 a.m.
The current capacity of 20 percent (around 2,800) will be bumped up to 25 percent.
The Penguins are currently in first place by two points over the Washington Capitals are four points ahead of the Boston Bruins.
If they win the division or finish in second, they'll host Games 1 and 2 at PPG Paints. If they somehow slip to third place, they'll host Games 3 and 4.
As the standings line up today, the Penguins would take on the New York Islanders in the first round, but that is likely to change. The Capitals have three games left, as opposed to the Penguins one.
Tickets will continue to be sold in pods of two, three and four to allow for social distancing.
This capacity could change if the Penguins continue to advance in the playoffs, with all COVID mitigation efforts, with the exception of masks, ending on May 31 in Pennsylvania.
Tickets will be available here and a "know before you go" checklist can be found here.
