A four-star linebacker out of Aliquippa has committed to the University of Pittsburgh.
Cameron Lindsey announced Thursday afternoon he will be continuing his academic and athletic career as a Panther.
“For the next four years, I will be attending . . . the University of Pittsburgh,” Lindsey said during a media announcement.
Pitt Football Head Coach Pat Narduzzi retweeted the announcement posted on NewsRadio KDKA’s account.
Lindsey will be heading into his senior year and had 20 other schools that offered him scholarships, including Penn State and West Virginia.
He posted 100 tackles last year along with a sack and three forced fumbles, earning him all-state honors.
The Quips lost to Bishop McDevitt in the PIAA State Championship Game last season.
