PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Pitt’s single-season leading three-point shooter is joining the team of the best three-point shooter in NBA history.

Blake Hinson signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Golden State Warriors which means he will compete for a roster spot in training camp and then if he didn’t make the final cuts, the Warriors would retain his G League rights.

Golden State will hold a training camp on the campus of BYU-Hawaii from October 1-4.

Hinson hit a Pitt record nine three-pointers in a Panthers win at West Virginia and also had a 41-point game against Louisville last season. He was also part of the Panthers team that returned to the NCAA Tournament in 2022-2023. He reached 1,000 career points in 61 games at Pitt.

The Florida native played in the Summer League for the Los Angeles Lakers.
