PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – After a frustrating loss in a game that saw Pitt get another technical foul called on it and Justin Champagnie not shoot one free throw for the first time this year. Panthers head coach Jeff Capel let it out.

Here is what Capel said asked about Champagnie scoring only three points in the first half and others having to step up.

"I don't like the way he's officiated.  I've been around this league for a really, really long time as a player and a coach.  When you are a really good player and one of the best players in the league.  You usually don't go through a game where you play 30 minutes and don't shoot a free throw.  When you are not just a jump shooter.  That's something that has been really frustrating."

"There is a double-standard with us.  I'm tired of it.  I'll get whatever happens will happen.  Teams can talk to our bench.  They can go crazy after a call and nothing happens, but when we've done it.  A little bit.  There are technical fouls.  It's been really for two years that it's been this way."

"I don't know what to say to my team.  It's really frustrating.  This is a really emotional game and when you are playing and it's physical.  Other teams are able to be emotional and emote emotional things."

"There was a call today where they had a guy run off the court and nothing is called.  But if we yell 'and one', not even the guy who got fouled.  There's a technical foul in the critical part of the game.  It's not right.  It's really freaking frustrating."

"We have to figure out a way to continue to fight through and persevere.  Listen, those guys have a very hard job to do.  They are good guys.  I like all of them.  But man, it's frustrating.  It's not right.  I know I'm wrong for what I'm saying, because you can't say anything.  You can't say anything."

"Again, I like all those guys.  They are really, really good guys.  But this is some bull----."
