You know it’s Backyard Brawl day when you have to hit the dump button, so adult language doesn’t go over the air, four times.

Pitt and West Virginia’s rivalry is renewed tonight at 7 p.m. but fans and those that participated in games in the past are already fired up.

Former Pitt head coach Dave Wannstedt made it through most of his interview on The Fan Morning Show, before he said “s**t.”

Adam “Pac Man” Jones on the other hand made it only a little over three minutes before he had to be dumped…twice.

Morning Show producer Adam Crowley shared what caused Jones to be kicked off the air.

To ensure harsh language doesn’t make it over the air, if a caller or guest is dumped twice, they’re line automatically hangs up.

Jones made sure to text both Crowley and co-host Dorin Dickerson to apologize with a “my bad”, explaining that he thought he was on satellite radio.

It has also affected Fan staff. I texted Crowley, a proud West Virginia fan and alum, asking him some questions and finished with a “H2P.”

He kindly answered my questions and then unkindly told me to “eat s**t.”

Pitt starting quarterback Kedon Slovis also go into the act earlier this week during a rally saying “f**k, West Virginia.”

The hype is real. People are pumped. This is the Backyard Brawl.
