
PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Pat Narduzzi hired an assistant from his earlier days of coaching to replace Charlie Partridge. Narduzzi bringing on Tim Daoust as the next Panthers defensive line coach on Wednesday.
Daoust has over 20 years of college football coaching experience, working as an assistant on defense and special teams. He’s worked in the ACC before, leading the Syracuse defensive line from 2011-15, within that tenure he was also promoted to assistant head coach.
The most recent stop for the Toledo native, East Carolina where his defenses were top 20 in the nation in stopping the run. Daoust also had a pair of stops at Western Michigan, plus Ball State, Central Michigan, Illinois State and Cincinnati. He worked with Narduzzi with the Bearcats and Redbirds.
Daoust, 46, was a two-time captain at Division 3 Wittenberg in Springfield, Ohio where his 27.5 career sacks are second-most in school history.
