PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Kenny Pickett passed a couple of Panther greats in the record book on Saturday during the loss to Miami. It seems every week another record falls, here is where Pickett is now tops in Pitt history.

TDs responsible for
The 12-yard touchdown to Jared Wayne gave Pickett 83 touchdowns responsible for passing Dan Marino for first place. Earlier this season, Pickett passed the 75 from Rod Rutherford and the 78 by Tyler Palko.
Total Offense
A 39-yard completion to Jordan Addison to end the 1st quarter made Pickett Pitt’s all-time leader in total offense for a career, passing Alex Van Pelt’s school record of 11,267 yards which stood since 1992.
Passing Yards-Game
Pickett became the first Pitt quarterback to ever throw for 500 yards in a game. It’s the fourth game where the New Jersey native has thrown for more than 400 yards in a single game. No other Pitt quarterback has more than one 400-yard game.
