Pitt starting point guard enters transfer portal

The news comes the same day a hometown player announced his transfer to the Panthers

After spending two seasons with Pitt, starting point guard Femi Odukale is the latest Panther to enter the transfer portal.

The sophomore averaged 10.8 points this past season, hitting 39 percent from the field along with 33 percent three-point efficiency.

With the 6’5” Odukale out of Brooklyn, New York moving on opens up another scholarship for head coach Jeff Capel.

Noah Collier, Max Amadasun, Ithiel Horton, Chris Payton, Dan Oladapo and Oney Ezeakudo are the other players that have entered the transfer portal.

The news comes after First-Team All-Conference Midland native Nelly Cummings announced he is playing his final year of eligibility at Pitt, transferring from Colgate.
