
PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – It was strangely similar to their last game against Cal, Pitt fell behind early and then went on a run late in the first half and continued it into the second for a 83-68 win over Stanford. It’s a program record eighth straight regular season ACC win.
Saturday night also marked the return of Ishmael Leggett. The senior guard missed the win over the Bears due to a sprained ankle and sparked the win with 21 points on 9-13 shooting with six rebounds and three assists. Sophomore guard Jaland Lowe had 16 points, his 10th straight game in double figures to go with 5 assists.
After starting the game making 8 of its 12 field goals, Stanford went 3 of 20 over next stretch. The Cardinal finished shooting 35% FG (29% in the second half). The Panthers shot 56% field goals and 93% from the free throw line.

· Zach Austin got his 200th career block, if he had all of them at Pitt he would be second all-time. Austin has 65 of his blocks while a Panther. Austin also had 11 points and 4 rebounds
· Guillermo Diaz Graham finished with 12 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists. His first double-figure game since 13 points against VMI on November 18
· Jorge Diaz Graham hit a pair of 3s, in the last four games and made 6 of his last 7 three-point attempts
· Cam Corhen followed up his double-double with 8 points (4-8 FG) and 6 rebounds
· Pitt had 30 more points in the paint than Stanford
· Panthers 15th straight win at the Petersen Events Center
· Pitt is now 3-1 all-time against Stanford
