PITTSBURGH (93.7 the Fan) Kenny Pickett and the Pitt Panthers are in Charlotte, NC getting set to battle Wake Forest for the NCAA ACC Title.
On Friday night, though, Pickett was given a little extra love from the City of Pittsburgh in his possible run for a Heisman Trophy.
The Steel Tower downtown was lit up with Pitt’s “H2P” moniker, but rather than standing for “Hail to Pitt” it was “Heisman to Pickett.”
The Heisman love was joined by two more light designs, including an outline of the famous Heisman stance and big number 8.
Pickett has already been chosen as the ACC player and offensive player of the year in his return to Pitt, but is also a finalist for five other awards including the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm and the Walter Camp Player of the Year Awards.
