PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) — The Pittsburgh Penguins are making sure they keep goaltender Tristan Jarry for the next three years.
On Saturday, the Penguins announced that they had re-signed Jarry to a three-year contract.
"Tristan is coming off of an All-Star season and has demonstrated the ability to be a regular starter for us. He is a fundamentally sound young goaltender who we believe is a great asset for the Penguins," General Manager Jim Rutherford stated on Jarry's re-signing.
The new deal will see that Jarry is a Penguin through the end of the 2022-2023 season.
The three-year contract will hold a $3.5 million average per year.
A more complete breakdown of the Jarry deal can be found on the Pittsburgh Penguins website.
