The Penguins are playing in Nova Scotia for a preseason game on October 2, but even though they’ll be playing the Ottawa Senators, it will likely feel like a home game.
The Pens will be in Halifax, about 10 minutes away from Sidney Crosby’s hometown of Cole Harbour.
The Nova Scotia Showdown, presented by Irving Oil and Tim Hortons.
The Pens and Sens will play at Scotiabank Centre, where the Halifax Mooseheads of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League play.
Tickets go on sale July 18 at 10 a.m.
In total the Penguins will play in seven preseason games, three at PPG Paints Arena.
