PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – On the night they honored Hall of Fame broadcaster Mike Lange. The Pens also announced their sellout streak of 663 consecutive games ended.

Every Pens game from Valentine’s Day 2007 until October 16, 2021 was a sellout.  An amazing streak that nearly ended on Opening Night, but a late rush kept the record going for at least one game into the 2021-22 season.

The attendance for Tuesday night, 16,440 about two-thousand shy of capacity.
