Remember Kasperi Kapanen?

He was placed on waivers by the Penguins before the trade deadline and he was picked up by the St. Louis Blues.

Originally traded by the Penguins in 2015, Kapanen was traded back to Pittsburgh by Toronto in 2020.

There were high hopes for Kapanen, but he never got to the level the organization and fans were hoping for.

This year alone, in 43 games, Kapanen had seven goals and 13 assists for 20 points and was a minus eight.

(Insert record scratch)

Since joining the Blues, he has already matched his goal production with Pittsburgh this year with seven goals in 14 games.

He has three assists and is a plus four.

Guess he just needed a change of scenery.
