A.J. Burnett has taken one of the most iconic moments of his career and added it to his tattoo collection.

On the top of his finger, Burnett shared a photo on his Instagram, getting the letter S.T.F.D, which of course means “Sit the f**k down.”

The quote goes back to August 2012 when Burnett told Los Angeles Dodgers batter Hanley Ramirez to “sit down” after striking him out.

The moment gave the team more of an edge, that Burnett wasn’t going to take anyone’s crap and the team soon wouldn’t either.

The moment also inspired a popular shirt from Pittsburgh Clothing Company.

Pirates first overall draft pick, Paul Skenes was seen recently posing near a photo of Burnett.
