With seating capacity drastically increasing at PNC Park in June and going 100 percent beginning July 1, the Pirates have finally released their promotional schedule for 2021.

It includes long-time fan favorites like Free T-shirt Fridays, Fireworks nights, Dollar Dog Nights and more.

The first promotion of the season will be a Dollar Dog Night on Thursday, June 3 against the Marlins following by a Free Shirt Friday the next night, also against the Marlins.

Other promos throughout the season include Pirates’ umbrellas, kids and dads batting practice hats, Hawaiian shirts, blankets and more.

Zambelli Fireworks nights will be June 18, July 17, August 14, August 28 and September 11. Get the full promo schedule here.

The Pirates will begin by operating at 55 percent capacity in June and will have a two-phase reopening plan.

Phase 1: All 12 home games from Thursday, June 3 through Wednesday, June 23, will operate with an approximate three-foot social distancing between seating allotments. This will result in an increase in ballpark capacity of approximately 55-percent capacity.

· Phase 2: Beginning Thursday, July 1, PNC Park will operate at full capacity with all seating restrictions lifted.

Tickets for all games go on sale this Wednesday at 10 a.m.

The Pirates continue to encourage everyone who is able to get a vaccination to do so. Fans who have been fully vaccinated from COVID-19 are not required to wear a mask inside the park.

All COVID-19 mitigation efforts expire in Pennsylvania on May 31.
The mask mandate was lifted last week, but private businesses can still choose to enforce a mask policy.
