Pirates add Yankees Top 20 minor league player

PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – The player to be named later in the JT Brubaker trade to the Yankees was named on Tuesday.

Pirates get the Yankees 20th best prospect, 20-year-old infielder Keiner Delgado. The 5’7”, 145-pound switch-hitter was a Florida Complex League All-Star last season batting .293 with a .414 on-base percentage and .899 OPS. He hit 12 doubles, eight home runs and stole 36 bases.

The right-handed Brubaker hasn’t thrown in a game since 2022 after Tommy John surgery. He was 9-28 with a 4.99 ERA in 63 games (61 starts) with the Pirates with 324 strikeouts and 109 walks in 315.2 innings.
