The Pirates have claimed a right-handed pitcher off waivers from the Los Angeles Dodgers.
27-year-old Jack Little as been assigned to Triple-A Indianapolis after being claimed by the Pirates on Wednesday.
Little was designated for assignment on Monday by the Dodgers.
Little made two appearances with the Dodgers this year, making his MLB debut in June.
He gave up two runs over two innings in his first appearance and a couple of weeks later, pitched one scoreless inning.
He’s spent most of this year with the Dodgers Triple-A affiliate Oklahoma City.
He was 5-4 in OKC with a 4.64 ERA over 42.2 innings pitched with 39 strikeouts and 13 saves.
Little was drafted in the 5th round of the 2019 MLB Draft by the Dodgers.
