He made it publicly known he wants out of Pittsburgh, but it has become clear that if a team wants him, they’re going to have a pay a king’s ransom.

Audacy MLB insider Jon Heyman write in the New York Post that the Pirates are looking for a “Juan Soto trade.”

The Padres gave up five good prospects to acquire Soto from the Nationals.

Heyman says the Pirates want “at least three to four top prospects.”

But a baseball executive tells Heyman that he expects Reynolds to stay in Pittsburgh for now due to the high asking price but is hoping for a deal to be made at the deadline.

Several teams have been rumored to be interested in Reynolds including the Dodgers, Yankees, Mariners and Rangers just to name a few.

He hit .262 last season for the Pirates with 27 home runs and 62 RBI.
