The Pirates are going to get their own version of the Nike City Connect jersey in June, but their Triple-A affiliate debuted some new threads Friday.
The Indianapolis Indians will wear gold jerseys with “Young Bucs” on the front on Friday, May 19 and Saturday, May 20 for their first “prospects weekend.
Prospects nights celebrate the Indians’ 18th straight season as the Pirates Triple-A affiliate.

The one sleeve features a Pirates logo and the other one features an Indians logo and a Pirates “P”.
Stitched on the inside are the words “Raise It”.
The Indians will wear the jerseys again on September 8 and 9 for their second Prospects Weekend.
A jersey auction will take place for the game-worm uniforms in September. Proceeds will benefit Indianapolis Indians Charities.
