According to a report, the Pirates are calling up a pitcher they got last month from the Los Angeles Angels.
Fan Pirates Insider Jason Mackey of the Post-Gazette says sources tell him left-handed pitcher Dillon Peters is coming up from Triple-A Indianapolis.
Mackey says Peters, "has a 1.50 ERA in 5 games, 2 starts for Indians."
The 28-year-old made one start for the Angles last season, pitching 1.2 innings giving up four runs (three earned) with two of those home runs.
Peters was acquired by the Pirates for cash back on July 19.
Taken in the 20th round of the 2011 draft by the Cleveland Indians, Peters has appeared in 31 games with a 5.83 ERA.
