Twitter, or “X” as Elon Musk wants it to be called sees a lot of swings and misses from its users.

Hell, I probably have multiple a day.

But, this one from the Talkin’ Baseball account went over like a lead balloon.

Here’s the backstory, police in the Philadelphia area are looking for an attempted homicide suspect. His name just happens to be Andrew McCutchen, a Philadelphia native.

Not that Andrew McCutchen that plays for the Pirates, lives in Pittsburgh and is from Florida.

So Talkin’ Baseball tweeted a screenshot of the Pirates’ McCutchen batting during the first game of Wednesday’s double header and said “he’s right here officer.”

Many people shared their displeasure with the tweet, with a lot of complaints that it wasn’t funny.

"You can delete this like whenever," wrote one user.

Attempted homicide is no laughing matter and this “X” account’s attempt to get a laugh didn’t land.

What did land was Andrew McCutchen’s three-run homer in the second game against the Tigers.
