PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – The Steelers had a weekend off and again watched as every other team in the division win games on Sunday. A pair of those were against winning teams.
Ravens 37 Seattle 3
7-2 Baltimore dominated the Seahawks outrushing Seattle by 270 yards. The Ravens rushed for 298 yards to 28 for Seattle. Lamar Jackson was a very efficient 21-26 for 187 yards, rushing for 60 more yards. Keaton Mitchell ran nine times for 138 yards and a touchdown. TE Mark Andrews caught nine passes and Odell Beckham, Junior had a touchdown. Baltimore also had four sacks and led time of possession 40:04-19:56. Ravens host Cleveland next week.
Browns 27 Arizona 0
Yes, Cardinals QB Clayton Tune made his first NFL start, but still. Tune finished with 58 yards passing and 28 yards rushing. When you factor in the seven Browns sacks, Arizona had 58 total yards or 268 yards fewer than Cleveland. Deshaun Watson returned and was 19-30 for 219 yards and a pair of touchdowns as Kareem Hunt had a rushing score and Amari Cooper had five catches for 139 yards. The Browns are 5-3 and after playing at Baltimore, they host the Steelers.
Bengals 24 Buffalo 18
Starting the season 0-2 and then 1-3, the Bengals are now 5-3 like Cleveland and the Steelers. Their last three wins were against expected playoff teams-Seattle, at San Francisco and the Bills. Joe Burrow continued to improve with his most passing yards of the season, 31-44, 348 yards, two touchdowns, no interceptions. Tee Higgins eight receptions for 110 yards, Ja'Marr Chase four catches for 41 yards and still follows the Bengals on social media. Former Steeler Mike Hilton with 10 solo tackles. Cincinnati hosts Houston Sunday.
Steelers host Green Bay on Sunday at 1p before going to Cleveland and then Cincinnati. Turns out the AFC North is as good as predicted.
