Back at it: Steeler report for offseason workouts

Steelers leadership is focused on next week’s draft, but for the players, they’re already back to work.

The team confirmed on social media Monday that they’ve returned to the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex to begin offseason workouts.

Quarterback Kenny Pickett, running back Najee Harris and wide receiver Diontae Johnson were a few of the players seen walking into the building.

The workouts are voluntary and are basically limited to lifting and conditioning.

Following the draft, the Steelers will old rookie camp.

After that it’s OTAs. Those begin on May 23 and ends on June 8 with 10 Organized Team Activities.

After that it’s mandatory minicamp at the Rooney Sports Complex. That begins on June 13.
