PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – A question during the week, the Browns announced Friday Baker Mayfield will start at quarterback against the Steelers Sunday.
Mayfield did not play in their previous game due to a left shoulder injury.

"He will play. He will start," Stefanski said via 92.3 The Fan’s Daryl Ruiter in Cleveland. "He met all the requirements medically. I feel good about that process and how that went. I'd tell you it's pretty simple. Medically, he's ready to go."
“Our doctors, our trainers, the second opinions felt very comfortable about that. Baker feels like he is ready and ready to help this team win.”
“I would tell you functionally, he’s 100%.”
Mayfield had started 51 consecutive games before last Thursday night. On the season, Mayfield has six touchdowns and three interceptions throwing for 1,474 yards and a 3-3 record.
It will be the fourth-year quarterback’s six career start against the Steelers. He is 2-3 with 884 yards, seven touchdowns and four interceptions. In his last two games, both wins, Mayfield is 38 of 61 for 459 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions.
Browns (4-3) are a half game up on the Steelers (3-3) for third place in the AFC North.
