Former NFL running back Marshawn Lynch is making a big claim about Steelers RB Najee Harris.
On the “I am Athlete” podcast, Lynch said in no particular order: Najee Harris, Saquon Barkley, Derrick Henry, Josh Jacobs and Nick Chubb.
“I think Marshawn Lynch is crazy thinking that Najee Harris is a top five running back,” said Colin Dunlap on the Fan Morning Show Wednesday.
Co-host Dorin Dickerson said he doesn’t think Najee is even the best running back in the AFC North.
“He might be the last,” said Dickerson “You look at Chubb, you look at (Kareem) Hunt you look at (Joe) Mixon, (J.K.) Dobbins.”
Chris Mack says he’d have Harris around 10th.
Adam Crowley says he agrees with Mack, but even with Harris not being a top five back, he says the Steelers need to have a top five offense with either the same or better offensive line along with Jaylen Warren on the roster, another strong back.
While Harris is probably a better running back than Warren, Warren did average more yards a carry last season.
