During his weekly press conference, Steelers coach said that quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is dealing with a left pectoral injury.
Add that to the list of several players dealing with groin injuries, along with receiver Diontae Johnson who has a knee issue.
Roethlisberger said on Wednesday he doesn't know when the injury occurred but that it happened early on in the game and told reporters that it hurts when he reaches or gets up off the ground.
He added that he hasn't thrown a ball since the loss to the Raiders.
Wednesday is Roethlisberger's normal day off, so whether or not he practices on Thursday will give more insight on where he's at with his injury.
There have been a few instances in the past when Roethlisberger hasn't practiced all week and then ends up playing in the game on Sunday.
The Post-Gazette's Gerry Dulac says that "Roethlisberger can play versus Bengals but it will be (with) pain when he throws."
Roethlisberger isn't sure if he'll be ready to play but the fact he is talking to the media and not ruling out playing against the Bengals on Sunday make it pretty clear it's at least not a serious injury.
"Today's only Wednesday, so we have a lot of time to get ready to go," said Roethlisberger.
