PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Baker Mayfield confirmed returning by Cleveland head coach Kevin Stefanski Friday morning. Now on the official injury report, tailback Nick Chubb is full go and no longer even listed with his calf injury.

The 5’11”, 227-pound Chubb rushed for a season-high 161 yards in his last game against the Chargers on October 10. He missed the last couple with the injury but still is fourth in the NFL in rushing with 523 yards on just 90 carries and four touchdowns. Chubb has averaged 4.4 yards a carry in five career games against the Steelers with only one touchdown.

Browns will be without corner Denzel Ward, missing his first game of the season after a pulled hamstring in the win over Denver.  Cleveland won’t have receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones (groin) and safety Richard LeCounte (discipline).

Several key players are questionable-defensive end Jadeveon Clowney (lower leg)-did not practice this week, defensive tackle Malik Jackson (knee), defensive end Takkarisk McKinley (groin)-did not practice this week, corner AJ Green (groin), receiver Odell Beckham, Jr. (shoulder) and fullback Johnny Stanton (calf).

Greedy Williams will fill in for Ward, he started three games this season as Greg Newsome dealt with a calf injury. A Browns second round pick in 2019, Williams had a season-high 10 tackles against the Chargers with an interception this year against the Vikings and five passes defended. This will be Williams 16th career start.

Ward has more career interceptions, two, against the Steelers than any team with 23 tackles in five games and six passes defended and a fumble recovery.
