Burrow returns to Bengals practice but won't face Steelers

DE Trey Hendrickson 'doubtful'

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow returned to practice on Monday but won’t play this coming Sunday against the Steelers.

Burrow has been on the Reserve/Injured list since mid-September with a toe injury.

Monday begins the 21-day window for Borrow to make his return to the field. He’s able to practice while not counting against Cincinnati’s 53-man roster.

Bengals Head Coach Zac Taylor also said on Monday that defensive end Trey Hendrickson is “doubtful” for the game at Acrisure Stadium.

That might sound like good news for Pittsburgh, but they lost to the Bengals 33-31 on Thursday Night Football in Week 7 to a Cincinnati team without Burrow or Hendricks.

The Steelers won’t have to play Burrow or Hendrickson at all this season. They’ll need to win on Sunday if they want to be taken seriously for a playoff push.

Especially after coming off a bad loss to the Chargers in Los Angeles on Sunday night.
