Former Steelers safety and current ESPN NFL analyst Ryan Clark has high praise for linebacker T.J. Watt and used an interesting comparison to do it.
While on former NFL kicker and Pittsburgh native Pat McAfee’s show Tuesday Clark said Watt is like mixing James Harrison with Ryan Shazier.
“I don’t even know the works to describe it, it was like you mixed James Harrison with Ryan Shazier and it turned into a white boy,” said Clark laughing.
Watt is having another breakout season and is already in discussions for the NFL’s Defensive Player of the Year award.
He currently has 4.5 sacks, 13 quarterback hits and 12 total tackles.
The Steelers will Watt to continue his dominant play when the 4-1 Browns come to Heinz Field for the first AFC North matchup for the team this season.
