Cowherd: 'I would trade T.J. Watt, George Pickens, two first rounders and go get Shedeur Sanders'

Is Colin Cowherd serious?

Speaking on this FOX Sports show “Herd w/Colin Cowherd” Thursday, he said he would trade T.J. Watt and George Pickens.

“The Steelers have been putting Band-Aids on for six years, I think they have to rip it off,” said Cowherd. “I would trade T.J. Watt, George Pickens…two first-round picks if your scouting department says Shedeur Sanders is the guy.”

The son of Coach Prime, Deion Sanders, Shedeur is considered by CBS Sports, and others, as the second-best quarterback in the upcoming draft, behind Cam Ward.

The 2025 class is considered a weaker one for quarterback availability.

Cowherd says he would also like if the Steelers went out and picked up Aaron Rodgers saying it “would be a decent fit.”

But he thinks the Steelers need to take a big swing and that they could draft Sanders at #5, 6 or 7th overall.

Watt, Pickens and two first-rounders… that sounds like taking a big swing…and a miss.

Cowherd also thinks the Steelers are one of a few teams that are only a quarterback away from reaching the next level.
