If you didn't think Sunday's loss to the 2-win Arizona Cardinals could get any more embarrassing, it did.
The Steelers scored a pointless touchdown late in the fourth quarter to make the game 24-10.
Diontae Johnson caught a pass from Mitch Trubisky and proceeded to celebrate.
I'm all for excessive celebration and players having a good time, but that wasn't the time or place to celebrate, getting pounded by a team you should be favored to win.
Mike Tomlin didn't make things better during his news conference on Monday.
Asked by The Athletic's Mark Kaboly if Johnson celebrating the touchdown bothered him at all, Tomlin said he didn't know what he was talking about.
Kaboly then told him what happened and Tomlin asked what HIS opinion was. Kaboly said he didn't have one and then the AP's Will Graves asked Tomlin if he had one.
"Not that I'll share with you guys," said Tomlin.
So, Tomlin went from not knowing what the situation was to saying he wasn't going to share his opinion with the media.
Things are just a mess right now for the Steelers.
