It’s a conundrum for some Steelers fans.
They want Kenny Pickett to succeed. They also want to drive Matt Canada to the airport and send him on a one-way ticket to somewhere far, far away.
But if Pickett figures it out, as Fan Morning Show co-host Dorin Dickerson said, you’ll probably see more of Canada on the sidelines again next season.
The Buffalo Bills fired their offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey after and embarrassing loss to the Denver Broncos.
It wasn’t all Dorsey’s fault and he’s the Bills’ scapegoat.
But you can’t blame Canada, like many have all season.
Even critics of the Steelers offensive coordinator believe he’s had a decent game plan over the past three games.
It hasn’t been Canada’s game plan, it’s been quarterback Kenny Pickett not making throws or passes were dropped.
Things have been looking better for Canada since moving him from the booth to the sidelines.
“If Kenny figures it out a little bit and this offense stays the way it is right now, Canada will get a new contract,” said Dickerson.
He adds if Pickett can play at least 15 percent better, the Steelers will win at least one playoff game.
Super Bowls are the goal in Pittsburgh, but a playoff win would almost guarantee a Canada return.
