Eagles beat out Steelers in gear sales

The Steelers are still one of the most popular franchises in the in NFL, but they’re not the top dog in Pennsylvania.

A new study from sports retailer Lids has released data on NFL gear sales and the Philadelphia Eagles edge out the Steelers in a few categories.

The Eagles sold the 4th most gear out of any NFL team while the Steelers came in right behind them at 5th.

The State of West Virginia was the only state in the union where the Steelers were top sellers.

But when it comes to players the Steelers and T.J. Watt led the way with the top-selling jersey in both Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

Watt came in fourth over in the NFL behind Dak Prescott, Patrick Mahomes and George Kittle.

For overall team gear sales, the Cowboys came in first, followed by the Raiders and 49ers.

The Eagles may have beat out the Steelers this year, but a trip to the Super Bowl for Philadelphia and their 14-3 2022 record.
