Will the Steelers regret not choosing an offensive lineman with their first pick in the draft this past April?
According to a couple experts, the answer is a big no and that's because they got Najee Harris.
Speaking on ESPN's "Get Up" Jeff Darlington and Mike Greenberg believe Harris will instantly connect with his teammates in the locker room and will have a veteran presence on the field.
"I don't want to overstate things because I just love the guy's vibe but I feel like Najee Harris is going to come into that locker room and get the respect of the guys around him," said Darlington. "For some reason I just have this weird feeling that Najee Harris is going to be an absolute star in the NFL."
Greenberg took it even further.
"Write his name down right now for Rookie of the Year," said Greenberg.
Harris has impressed during OTAs and minicamp, but with a redesigned offensive line, will his skill matter?
If Harris is able to become a threat and establish a running back, that will make things a lot easier for the o-line in 2021, even with all the new faces and changes.
