Pickens a surprise on practice report, listed as questionable against Browns

There was a surprise on the final Steelers practice report of the week Friday.

Wide receiver George Pickens appeared on the practice report for the first time all week with a hamstring issue.

He is officially listed as questionable for Sunday’s home game against the Cleveland Browns.

Defensive tackle Montravius Adams is out for Sunday’s game. Adams remains on IR but is in the 21-day window to return.

It’s the second week in a row that Adams has not been activated.

He was listed as a full participant the past two days.

Every other player on the injury list this week looks like they’ll be returning. That includes linebacker Alex Highsmith, coming back from an ankle issue and wide receiver Calvin Austin III, who was in concussion protocol. Both practiced in full the past two days.

The Steelers look for revenge against the Browns at home on Sunday at 1 p.m.
