PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Steelers add a couple more to the Pro Bowl this year, including a rookie.

Receiver Diontae Johnson and tailback Najee Harris named as replacements for Bengals receiver Ja'Marr Chase and tailback Joe Mixon.

Harris set a Steelers rookie record with 1,200 yards, finishing fourth in the entire NFL.  It might not seem like he did that well because he was third in the AFC North in rushing behind Mixon and Nick Chubb.  The 2021 first-round pick rushed for seven touchdowns and finished 29th in the NFL in receptions with 74.  Harris ended with the same number of receptions as Cincinnati's Tee Higgins and Tampa Bay's Mike Evans and had more receptions than Tyler Lockett and George Kittle.

Johnson finished with a career-high in receptions and yards.  His 107 catches were fifth in the NFL and his 1,161 yards were 10th.  The 25-year-old was upset about his snub for the Pro Bowl initially and it seemed to affect him for the rest of the year.

"I'm not going to lie, I was kind of pissed," Johnson said in late December.  "I can't do nothing about it.  It's up to the fans, the players around the league.  I don't have no say-so in that.  I can only pray they vote for me."

"It was tough because I know all the work I put in the off-season and during the season as well.  I was watching TV and I saw it.  It crushed me a little bit."

"If I get another opportunity at it next year, then if I get picked, it will be a blessing.  Hopefully I get an alternate of something like that, but I'm just leaving it in God's hands and keep working."

Johnson ended up blessed, as did Harris.
