PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Combining for nearly 500 yards in four games and helping the Steelers to three wins, Najee Harris named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Month.

The Steelers first overall pick rushed for 356 yards on 88 carries with three touchdowns.  He also caught 17 passes for 124 yards and a score.

Ben Roethlisberger said of Harris after the win at Cleveland on Sunday.

"He just keeps growing," Roethlisberger said. "His pass pro, catching out of the backfield, running the ball and, at the end of the game, protecting the ball, kind of being smart, he's just going to keep getting better."

"He wants to do more than just be a great runner," Roethlisberger added on Wednesday. "Being a running back is about more than just being a good runner. Pass pro, even down the field. I think one of the reverses I was watching, he at least got in the way and created a block. I think he takes pride in wanting to be great, and we're seeing a lot of growth."

"He's a special talent."

Bengals Ja'Marr Chase won for the award for the first month of the season.
