Steelers coach Mike Tomlin opened up his Wild Card round press conference with a list of injuries and fans should be optimistic that the team's top running back will be able to play Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Cornerback Arthur Maulet is being evaluated for a concussion and will be evaluated throughout the week.
Running back Najee Harris has "been aggressive" regarding treatment and will be limited at the beginning of the week, "then we'll let participation and how he feels be our guide as we get closer to game time," said Tomlin.
Harris left in the opening drive of the Ravens/Steelers game but was able to return later and helped Pittsburgh drive down the field to come back late in the game.
Robert Spillane with a knee injury will also be limited early on but Tomlin is hopeful that he'll be able to return
Wide receiver James Washington remains in COVID protocol.
Offensive lineman Dan Moore Jr. with a knee, center Kendrick Green who had an injury and was on the protocol will likely be back at practice at the beginning of the week.
But even if Green is good to go, that doesn't mean he'll get the start at center.
"We've been pleased with the work of J.C. at center and we've got some really good options there in terms of putting together a group as we put forward into this environment," said Tomlin.
