PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Steelers kicker Chris Boswell may miss the game with the Colts on Sunday. Boswell was limited on Thursday and didn’t practice on Friday due to a groin injury, and is questionable for the game. Steelers would turn again to Matthew Wright if Boswell can’t go.
Linebackers Marcus Allen (stinger) and Ola Adeniyi (shoulder) are questionable as Adeniyi was limited the last two days and Allen hasn’t practiced all week.
Just back from injury, linebacker Ulysees Gilbert suffered an ankle injury against Cincinnati and is back on Injured Reserve with middle linebacker Vince Williams, coming off the COVID list, taking his spot on the roster.
Defense end Stephon Tuitt could not practice Wednesday or Thursday with a back injury, however was able to go full on Friday and was no longer listed on the injury report.
Offensively, the news is good. Tight end Eric Ebron (back), running back James Conner (quadricipes), guard Kevin Dotson (shoulder) and fullback Derek Watt (concussion) all were full participants on Christmas Day and all cleared to play.
Running back Anthony McFarland is questionable, missing practice Friday due to illness.
Steelers have lost three straight games and host 10-win Indianapolis at 1 Sunday.
