Former Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell wants to box one of his old rivals.

Speaking on a recent episode of the Misfits Boxing podcast, Bell revealed he’s like to box Vontaze Burfict, though he didn’t mention him by name.

“It’s someone from football. They had purposely injured me. I don’t think I want to say the name, but people who watched my career when I hurt my knee, people know,” said Bell. “Yeah, people know. I would love to put my hands on him in the ring.”

Bell was referring to the former Cincinnati Bengals linebacker who injured him during a game in 2015. Bell tore his MCL after a hip drop tackle by Burfict.

Bell said after that game, he thought the Cincinnati players were trying to injure him on purpose.

Burfict was known for his dirty play on the field.

Bell became a boxer after his NFL career ended with a whimper.

Bell lost his first match against former UFC fighter Uriah Hall back in October.

Last month, Bell beat Joel Morris by unanimous decision.

“Pacman” Adam Jones stirred the pot on social media saying that Burfict would rather have a UFC-style fight with Bell.
