A former Pitt Panthers All-American and two-time Super Bowl Champion says the Pittsburgh Steelers are not much different from the Cleveland Browns these days.
LeSean “Shady” McCoy said on FS1 Wednesday, the Steelers “look incompetent” for the first time in the modern era.
McCoy was talking in response to the ongoing Aaron Rodgers saga.
“You got out there an spend 125 million-dollars willy-nilly on a superstar wide receiver with no quarterback, what are we doing here?” asked McCoy on “The Facility” show.
His next comments were the real stinging shot.
“Is this the Steelers or is this the Jets? Is this the Browns?” McCoy said expressing his disappointment with the Steelers organization.
Andrew Fillipponi says he doesn’t think the Steelers are incompetent, they’re mediocre.
“And when you’re mediocre and you don’t have a quarterback, you get seduced by things, you trick yourself into thinking ‘oh this will work’,” said Poni on Wednesday’s PM Team.
Listen to Poni and Chris Mueller discuss Shady’s comments above.
